A signature is needed in Cluj by five o'clock.
It rarely arrives with much warning. A partner at a Bucharest law firm needs an original signature witnessed before a hearing, or a notary in Iași is waiting on a power of attorney that has to travel with a person, not just a parcel. The regular postal network sorts shipments through central hubs, and a document that enters that system tends to lose visibility for at least a day, sometimes longer. That timeline suits most mail. It does not suit a closing that has to happen by end of business.
This route was built around a narrower promise. A document is picked up in one city and placed directly into the intended hands in another, on the same working day, without passing through a sorting facility or riding alongside someone else's shipment. Bucharest sits at the centre of four regular corridors, to Cluj, Timișoara, Iași and Brașov, and the same routes run in reverse.

Most of what travels with a dedicated driver falls into a handful of recurring categories. Each one carries its own handling notes, gathered below.
Powers of attorney, notarized statements, apostilled certificates and deposition transcripts often need an unbroken chain of custody. A driver working a single route can log pickup and drop-off times without the envelope sitting overnight in a depot between two unrelated shipments.
Visa files, diplomatic correspondence and batches of passports moving between a consular section and a processing address are handled in a sealed pouch, carried by one driver, with no intermediate stop and no handover to a second vehicle.
Signed offer letters, termination documentation and background-check files that require a physical signature are common on this route, particularly when a new hire is starting at a regional office and the paperwork has to arrive before their first day.
Samples, spare parts, signed cheques or bank instruments and small equipment components between branch offices travel under the same conditions as a legal file: one driver, one pouch, one route.
Filings that need to physically reach a courthouse, a land registry desk or a public tender office by a stated hour are treated as time-critical from the moment of pickup, with the driver briefed on the exact deadline before leaving Bucharest or the originating city.
Closings, hearings and embassy deadlines do not always land on a weekday. Saturday, Sunday and public holiday routing is available at a premium rate, arranged in advance by phone or email.
How a single shipment is handled
The mechanics behind the same-day promise
One driver, start to finish
The vehicle that collects the shipment is not shared with other pickups along the way. It leaves once the document is loaded and does not stop for anyone else's parcel before reaching the destination.
Direct route, no sorting hub
The sealed pouch stays with the same driver for the entire journey. It does not pass through a depot, does not get transferred between vans, and is not scanned into a warehouse queue.
Photo confirmation on arrival
A timestamped photograph is taken at the moment of hand-over and sent to the person who booked the shipment, alongside the delivery time and the recipient's name.
Before ten, same city day
Bookings confirmed before ten in the morning are collected and delivered within the same working day. Bookings made later are still handled, usually with delivery the following morning.

Proof, without the wait
A photo, sent the moment the envelope changes hands
Instead of a tracking number that updates hours later, the person who booked the shipment receives a photograph taken on delivery: the document in the recipient's hands, or set down at the reception desk that was named at pickup, along with the exact time. For a firm that needs to confirm a filing landed before a deadline, that photo is often the only confirmation that matters.
A signed slip can be requested in addition, for shipments that fall under a regulated chain-of-custody requirement.
